The mere fact that I have decided to alert readers to the specific articles, readings, videos, and all other material to which I link should not be interpreted as support for the view(s) expressed therein.  The same can be said for the materials that I assign in class.  i choose to have my students read and watch materials that I think are deserving of investigation and critique (not criticism, but an informed critique), and that make them engage the material in a thoughtful manner.
